What is a DNS?
DNS stands for Domain Name System. Think of it as an "address book" of the Internet: your browsers and apps use it to translate domain names that make no sense to them into IP addresses that they can understand.

How AdGuard DNS Works
  1. Once you connect your device to AdGuard DNS, it will automatically start & protect you from any malicious attacks
  2. AdGuard DNS resolves IP for every URL you visit
  3. AdGuard DNS blocks harmful sites, defends from ads, tracking, and phishing attempts for secure browsing
  4. The dashboard tracks device domains, enabling swift blocking of unwanted sites for seamless control

At first I was sceptic; there must be a catch or it's simply a scam to get a 5 year subscription for the price of 1.5 years. All I could lose is the equivalent of 4 Big Macs. After the buy, I redeemed the received code with Adguard. Very easy to register and worked 100%. I'm so happy with StackSocial for this opportunity. I'm 100% happy customer! It really is legit and no scam.

"Being alone is not worth it. Setting up the ASUS router is challenging, and a static IP is required for constant work. Not all ads are blocked. DNS leaks are showing two servers. I spent two days playing with the setup. I would rather buy an adguard no DNS alone. All the money was wasted."

5-stars to all of AdGuard services! I've been a supporter of AdGuard for many years and I would not run a Windows PC or iPhone/iPad without it. Modern day browsing is filled with junk ads and privacy invading trackers that either makes my browsing experience slow or annoying. With tracking, I just don't like the idea. Here in the US, we should not having tracking profiles on any Americans but that's just what it has come down to. With AdGuard services, you greatly reduce this. I'm very thankful for the team behind at AdGuard!

I am loving every minute of it really! I did it on my home router ( and to my surprise it blocks all ads in games with ads or ads on site and whole lot more). Ofcause i said most ads so it's just a few that it might not block but for what i have seen it does a lot for my network and anyone it for that matter. I recommend!

After buying Adguard Personal, I tested Adguard DNS. Surprised how well it worked. As with all free packages, they all have usage limits, which was enough to operate for about three days. But that was enough to convince me to move forward with this service. After I checked out the price (Suggested Retail Price (SRP)) from Adguard directly, I realized that they were asking for a Personal License of 19.99 USD + VAT/year or 2.49 USD/month. I guess there is nothing more to say ... At Stacksocial, "Five years, 29.99 USD."
